"Monkey" is an ES-335 style guitar crafted from black limba wood. It is the fourth instrument I have built and was originally created as a surprise for my eldest son. The guitar gets its name from a natural pattern in the wood grain on the fretboard that looks exactly like a monkey smoking a cigar.
